Dux Commercial Completes Rowlett Fire Station #2: A Modern Facility Built for Performance

Dux Commercial is proud to have completed work on Rowlett Fire Station #2, a cutting-edge 20,000 square foot facility constructed for the City of Rowlett in partnership with general contractor Speed Fab-Crete. This project reflects the city's commitment to public safety and first responder readiness, and we’re honored to have played a key role in bringing it to life.

The newly completed station features four large apparatus bays equipped with bifolding doors for rapid deployment, improving emergency response times. State-of-the-art mechanical ventilation systems and high-efficiency LED lighting contribute to both the safety and sustainability of the space — creating a modern, functional environment for the firefighters who serve the Rowlett community.

Our scope of work included complete interior and exterior framing, drywall systems, acoustical ceilings, and thermal insulation — all delivered with Dux Commercial’s trademark attention to detail, safety, and scheduling precision. Working closely with the design and construction team, we ensured every phase of our work supported the operational needs and long-term durability required of a public safety facility.
